100year

All-In-One is 100!

AIO Staff 1942It’s a little hard to believe, but this year marks All-In-One’s 100th year in business. The company was founded in 1914 by Herman Dressner. Since then, numerous family members have worked in the business, with Adele Dressner serving as the company’s current president. At a time when about half of all new businesses don’t survive more than 5 years, 100 years is quite the accomplishment…if we do say so ourselves!

So what’s the trick to staying in business for so many years? We like to think that it’s our commitment to going the extra mile for our customers. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best service in our industry. Our salespeople are – and always have been – highly knowledgeable and courteous. Whether you walk into our store in NYC’s garment district or place your order online or over the phone, you’ll get the same great service and advice.

We’ve also worked hard to change with the times. A lot has changed over the past 100 years, and we’ve had to change too. In the early 1900’s, we promoted our services by calling on our customers at their places of business. Top hats and knickers were all the rage.

In 1955, we produced our first-ever Product Catalog and mailed out a new catalog every year for the next 51 years. And today, the main way that customers learn about our offerings is through our website, which features a cool interactive Product Catalog.

To give you a sense of just how much things have changed since we first opened our doors, here are a few fun “then and now” facts.

If you’ve been a customer for many years, we thank you for your continued business. If you’re a relatively new customer, welcome to the All-In-One family. Either way, we look forward to assisting you in our second century of service!
